Eligibility:
- Must be listed in LPX previous to any training
- Less than 300 hours, they can take without eligibility at no cost/no grant.
- After working 300 hours (If Applicable Basic Dues & have been or are Employed) and can receive grant (if applicable)
Grant Scale:
CW ~ $60 per 4 hours
CE ~ $80 per 4 hours
Advancement Examinations:
CW/CE examinations will be scheduled for the second Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. with the individual having registered by the previous Wednesday.
The initial classification placement shall be based upon total documented hours of experience.
The initial testing for advancement shall be a hands-on examination. If any of the hands-on testing cannot be successfully demonstrated, the individual must attend and meet the training module requirements for the subject matter prior to re-taking the hands on examinations.
