Statement of Policy

Governs how the apprenticeship program operates, including your rights and responsibilities as an apprentice, the standards you are held to and the procedures that apply to your program. Every TEJATC apprentice should read and be familiar with their program’s Statement of Policy. The statement of policy is reviewed and updated periodically. Contact the TEJATC office to confirm you have the most current version.

Blended Learning (LMS)

The Learning Management System (LMS) is the online platform where apprentices access digital coursework, complete assigned modules and track progress through the program curriculum delivered by the electrical training ALLIANCE.

TradeSchool

The record-management platform that tracks your on-the-job hours, work report submissions, classroom attendance and overall progress. Keep your records current and accurate.

ALEKS Math

An adaptive online math program that assesses your skills and builds targeted instruction. Strong math is foundational to load calculations, circuit sizing, blueprints and the Code.

Northwest State Community College

All apprentices register with NWSCC to earn college credit toward an associate degree in Applied Science — at no additional cost.

OSHA 10-Hour Online

A required component of the apprenticeship through CareerSafe. Learn to recognize, avoid and report jobsite hazards and earn your official OSHA 10 wallet card.

Apprentice Continuing Education

Apprentices who meet grade and program-level criteria may take approved continuing education courses — without taking a seat from a journeyman. Sign-up is through TradeSchool.

Service Learning

Connects your technical training to community involvement — contributing skilled labor to community projects and reinforcing craftsmanship, civic responsibility and Brotherhood.

Exit Interview Form

As you approach completion, you’ll submit an exit interview form. It’s part of the program-completion process and gives TEJATC valuable feedback on your experience.
