You won’t graduate with $50,000 or more in student loan debt. You’ll graduate with a career and a place in IBEW Local 8.

The most comprehensive credential in the trade. Power the buildings where people work, heal, learn and gather.

Earn While You Learn
The Model That Works Backwards From College
Colleges ask you to pay for years of education before you see a return. The TEJATC apprenticeship works the other way around. It starts with a paycheck, not a bill.
On The Job
Most of your training happens in the field, working under journeymen on real commercial, industrial and residential projects. You’re a working apprentice, doing real work and being paid for it.
In The Classroom
Related technical instruction at the TEJATC Training Center covers electrical theory, blueprint reading, the National Electrical Code, safety and trade-specific skills.
College Credit
Through our partnership with Northwest State Community College, apprentices earn college credit toward a two-year associate degree at no additional cost.
