***Important information***
Apprentices at the Toledo Electrical JATC are full time employees and attend training for their trade. While the training is in relation to their work, it is not the cause of unemployment, nor are apprentices taking time off of work to attend training. With that said, employees in the registered apprenticeship program should file a regular UI claim. They would also follow the attached “Instructions for Filing Weekly Claims” for filing weekly claims.
For ease in filing the claim, it is recommend that individual filing the claim follow the attached instructions. If by chance, someone would not follow the instructions, their claim may be delayed. However, the result is the same; the claim will be processed.
