Telecommunications (VDV) Apprenticeship
Voice. Data. Video. The infrastructure of everything. VDV technicians wire the communications systems businesses, hospitals, schools and data centers depend on every day.
The Trade
A Fast-Growing, High-Demand Field
While electrical workers power buildings, VDV technicians wire the communications infrastructure inside them such as the networks, fiber, security systems and audio-visual technology that keep the modern world connected.
As demand for high-speed connectivity, smart-building technology and integrated communications surges, skilled VDV technicians are among the most sought-after workers in construction.
If you enjoy technology, problem-solving and hands-on work, and you want a career that stays relevant no matter how fast the industry evolves, the VDV trade is built for you.
