    Some courses will go to lottery if they have been filled past the limit of the course. Call 419-666-8088 if a course is filled so more spots can be added to the course. Lotteries only happen if a course is filled within 2 weeks of the start date of the course.

     

     

    CW~CE
    CLASS ELIGIBILTY & GRANT IN AIDS
    Available courses:
    OSHA 10 & 30
    First Aid, CPR, AED, &Blood borne Pathogens
    Code of Excellence
    Electrical Safe Work Practices – NFPA 70E
    ALEKS Math Course
    Foremanship Development Course
    Toledo City Code (must hold license already)
    Hands-On-Tutoring

    Eligibility:
    OSHA 10~HOUR – Able to take with grant before hiring as a qualification for employment
    Hands-On-Tutoring –
    • Must be listed in LPX previous to any training
    • Hired – 30 days they can take without eligibility and no cost/no grant.
    • After 30 days – check eligibility (If Applicable Basic Dues & have been or are Employed) and can receive grant (if applicable)

    First Aid, CPR, AED, & Blood borne Pathogens
    Electrical Safe Work Practices- NFPA 70E
    • Must be listed in LPX previous to any training
    • Hired without eligibility and no cost/no grant

    OSHA 30~HOUR –
    OSHA SILICA AWARENESS
    Code of Excellence-
    ALEKS Math Course
    Foremanship Development Course (CW-4, CE-1, CE-2 & CE-3) (Must meet Qualifications and in Good Standing)
    Toledo City Code (must hold license already)
    • Must be listed in LPX previous to any training
    • Must have accumulated fifteen hundred hours before taking these classes
    • Basic Dues Paid
    • Working or on the book

    Grant Scale:
    CW ~ $60 per 4 hours
    CE ~ $80 per 4 hours

    Advancement Examinations:
    CW/CE examinations will be scheduled for the second Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m. with the individual having registered by the previous Wednesday.
    The initial classification placement shall be based upon total documented hours of experience.
    The initial testing for advancement shall be a hands-on examination.  If any of the hands-on testing cannot be successfully demonstrated, the individual must attend and meet the training module requirements for the subject matter prior to re-taking the hands on examinations.
    ADVANCEMENT FROM CW-4 to CE-1
    CONDUIT BENDING LEVEL 1 – 10-hour module; 3 WAY/4 WAY SWITCHING – 10-hour module
    (“Codes, Standards and Practices 1 NOTE: Lesson 8 Basic Circuiting Simulator and all drawings”)
    SIMULATOR: BASIC CIRCUITING SIMULATOR
    ADVANCEMENT FROM CE-1 TO CE-2
    BLUEPRINTS, LEVEL 1 – 10-hour module; TRANSFORMERS, LEVEL 1 – 20-hour module
    ADVANCEMENT FROM CE-2 TO CE-3
    MOTOR CONTROL, LEVEL 1 – 20-hour module
    ADVANCEMENT FROM CE-3 TO JOURNEYMAN
    SUCCESSFULLY PASSING THE IBEW MULTI-DISTRICT JOURNEYMEN WIREMAN EXAMINATION
